For this translation we brought back someone we really like from the grave

Squeezed between the pages of Versos y Cuentos, Eduardo Calsamiglia’s first literary work, published in 1898, there is a short story that caught our attention since it could have been (if not the first) one of the earliest gothic and horror stories ever written in Costa Rica.

La Marca Azul is our tribute to bring back from the dead to no other than Eduardo Calsamiglia, a writer whom we have decided to name, hereafter, and just for a moment,  Calsamiglia Dreadful.
